Here he is ready to come home in his brand new car seat. We had to have the nurse come make sure we had him in it tight enough. We were finally able to leave the hospital around noon yesterday. It felt so good to be coming home.
I am still very sore. I let the pain medication wear off, because I thought it was making me feel funny. Only to find out that I have pinched a nerve in my neck that goes real well with the pulled muscles from delivery that we discovered yesterday morning once the spinal headache was gone. So, now I am trying to get the pain medication back on a normal schedule and into my body. There isn't much more we can do for the neck accept the medicine and heat. Dr. Shine said had we caught it on Friday we could have put ice on it to keep the swelling down., but we didn't know I was having problems due to the intense pain from the spinal headache. Go figure!
We had a very rough first night home. James fed every half hour to hour for almost 8 hours. Then he finally has gotten back on the schedule from the hospital. We hope that my milk is beginning to come in. We go to see the pediatrician for the first time tomorrow. Hopefully all will be well. We will keep you updated.
Barry's parents will be here this afternoon to spend the week with their first grandchild. We can't wait.

Thank you for the chance to hold and snuggle little James. He is so very precious. . .and I have this feeling that he will have this "adopted" older girl cousin that lives 1/4 mile away. What do you think????
