Three Weeks Old

Well, James is now three weeks old. One of my girl scout mom's stopped by today. She had seen James when he was only one week old....she was shocked at how he has grown. She couldn't believe it. She looked at me and said "It's only been two weeks since I saw him and now look at him." He is turning into quite the cutey...but I'm partial.

We have been trying to get out of the house for a little while each day with Barry being off. Barry is beginning to get a little bored...I think, and it's only been 4 days. We have had errands and appointments that had to be taken care of this week which gave us a good excuse to get out of the house for a little while.

Tomorrow is the 4th of July. We are having a cookout with Arthur, Gwen, Egan, Quinlin, Cathy, Sam, Nathaniel, and Katy. It should be a good time. Egan and Katy have spent every 4th of July together since they were born. We look forward to it each year...although this year there won't be quite as many fireworks with the way work has been for both Sam and Barry. That's okay though....I'm not sure James is going to like them all that much anyway. Some neighbors are setting off fireworks tonight, and Joey isn't liking them all that much either. I suppose he will be locked in the bedroom tomorrow night, so he doesn't go crazy.

Well, it is about time for a feeding. I will update again tomorrow with pictures of James in his 4th of July outfit. We hope it fits him okay. I will try to get some pictures of everyone tomorrow enjoying the 4th. Until then have a great day.
