Johnson City and back

We spent the weekend in Johnson City visiting Aunt Wendy and Uncle Kevin. Everyone enjoyed the visit. Barry enjoyed looking at someone else's four walls, since he has been home for a month. He goes back to work tomorrow morning at 6:00 A.M., so we hope James sleeps a little better tonight than he has the last couple of nights.

James had his first taste of cereal on Thursday and Friday in a bottle. That just wasn't doing it for him, so Saturday he got his cereal in a bowl. He had two helpings of it; one in the A.M. and one in the P.M. He enjoyed it both times, but he couldn't get enough at the P.M. feeding. We are now giving it to him in a bowl in the evening.

We hope you enjoy the pictures and video from our first experience with cereal and our trip to Johnson City.

What a messy mouth!

James and Aunt Wendy looking in the mirror. He was fascinated with himself.

James eating his cereal at Aunt Wendy and Uncle Kevin's house...no high chair.

Tonight...with our high chair. He enjoyed sitting in his high chair and eating. I just can't get the cereal in his mouth fast enough.

Barry video taped his feeding last night. James was so excited. Please excuse the color it was the lighting from Aunt Wendy and Uncle Kevin's kitchen that makes it so orange in color.
