Update

Well, it has been an extremely busy week that has resulted in sickness and antibiotics.

I ended up at the doctors on Wednesday with a blood pressure of 140/100 to discover that I have a severe upper respiratory infection that if not cleared up could result in walking pneumonia. Dr. Payne is not at all worried about the blood pressure. So, we are treating the upper respiratory infection with some really strong antibiotics. I am feeling somewhat better. Once I am better, Dr. Payne wants to monitor my blood pressure. He seems to feel that if I was going to have high blood pressure again...it would have been an issue while I was pregnant. Once we have monitored it for a month, I have to go back to see him if it stays high. We'll see what happens.

Now, we are dealing with a sick daddy. Barry started not feeling well on Friday night. He thinks it is steming from his allergies. Yesterday, he was okay as long as he didn't bend over or his nose would start running everywhere. He went to bed early last night, but he didn't sleep the best. So, he stayed home today from church in hopes that he will feel better tomorrow to go back to work.

James is doing well. He is having some spitting up issues again. I am to monitor it until we go back to see Dr. Harsh on the 14th of October. He is growing like a little weed. It is amazing to see the pile of clothes that don't fit him anymore. He does a great job holding his head up and sits upright. His new trick is holding his bottle all by himself.

Daycare is closed this week, so James will be spending his days at different places. Right now, I have to take him to Maryville tomorrow and Wednesday to stay with Aunt Gwen and Cousins Egan and Quinlin. On Tuesday and Friday, he is staying with "Uncle" Adam and probably hanging out at church for the day...at least on Tuesday. We aren't real sure what is happening on Thursday. As of right now, it looks like mommy will have to take the day off and spend it with him. That's okay. I just hate to use a sick day this early in the school year, but I will enjoy the precious time with him.

We hope this posts finds everyone healthy and enjoying the fall weather that is coming. We will update you again soon...and hopefully add some new pictures. Have a great week!
