Nursery decorations...finally

Well, it has taken me a few days to get around to uploading these images. It only took us 3 months to finish decorating James's nursery, so what more can you expect from us.

Yes, I know if you see the time some of you will wonder what I am doing home and blogging. James has a pediatrician's appointment at 8:30. Ms. Crystal (daycare teacher) noticed a dimple (sunken spot) on James's head yesterday. It is in the location where he was connected to the internal monitors during labor. I had never noticed it before and neither had they. So, I called the pediatrician. They told me I could wait until his next check up....well that's not until October, so they told me to come in this morning. I have my homeroom and first period covered to take him to the doctor. I'll let you all know what they say. Apparently, Barry noticed it two weeks ago, but he didn't think anything of it.

Here are the pics of James's nursery.

We couldn't decide what we wanted to put on the walls. We were at "The School Box" almost two weeks ago when we were waiting on James's pictures. I need some stuff for my classroom, so we went over there. As we wandered around the bulletin board sets, Barry discovered this one with the frog on a log and all his little friends. So, we bought it and have put it up on James's walls. It looks really, really cute. The wall above the day bed has his picture frame signed at all my showers and his name meaning that we bought in Gatlinburg last month. His room is finally coming together, and he will be three months tomorrow.
It is hard to believe James is going to be three months old. He is growing and changing so much every day. Some days when I get to daycare I can see how much he has changed. "Aunt" Megan commented on Sunday that he had changed a lot in the few weeks since she saw him last. And that wasn't to long ago. For the most part he is a very pleasant baby. He doesn't really cry unless he is hungry, tired or wet. He sleeps through the night (what more can a mommy ask for). He has begun to laugh and smile more and more. The other day he was so cute. He had finished his bottle and was sitting with me (since he has to stay upright for 20 minutes) when I looked down and saw him looking at his hands. He was clasping them together and then pulling them apart. He did this several times until he clasped them together and just laid there looking up at me. It was precious.
I will update you this evening (hopefully) on his appointment. Have a great day.

No need to apologize! Abbie never really has gotten a decorated room! She started out sleeping in the office, and now she is sharing a room with her brother! However, if we are ever able to give her her own space you can bet the first room I'll decorate will be hers!!!

BTW...I LOVE the froggies!!!!! They are TOO CUTE!!!!
