It's been awhile with pictures

We have had a busy last couple of weeks. I apologize for not updating.

James had his 4 month check up on the 14th. He weighed in at 16 lbs. 4 oz. He was 25 3/4 inches long. He is growing like a little weed. Dr. Harsh was very pleased at his development up to this point. He was shocked that James is cutting a tooth at 4 months. For cutting teeth James is very pleasant. He smiles and laughs. He got his normal shots and did pretty good with that now that they have combined a few of the shots together into one. James is trying desperately to crawl. He scoots really well at this point. He is able to roll from both his belly to his back and his back to his belly. He tries to hold his bottle on his own and is back to eating two to three bowls of cereal a day.

This past Saturday, we went on the hayride with church at Cades Cove. Boy was it cold!!! We bundled James up and set out for what should have been a short ride around the loop. Due to the leaves changing, the loop was packed with tourists. Our hayride lasted two hours. We enjoyed it and were able to see some deer while riding. Once the sun went completely down it got really cold. James survived and even slept through most of it. Below is a picture of our family on the haywagon.

On the 18th, we went to Boo at the Zoo with Uncle Artie, Aunt Gwen, Egan, and Quinlin. James was a fireman. He is going to be his "Uncle" Adam's twin on Halloween at Door 2 Door. He collected lots of candy for his daddy to eat. Daddy enjoyed the candy, accept for the M & M's...he is boycotting them since they sponsor Kyle Busch. Below are some pictures from our trip.

We are sure to be busy this week. But with Barry home during the day, we have less to get done at night once I get home. It was nice to not have to rush out of school today to make it to daycare before James's 10 hours was up. Barry was able to go pick him up and spend some quality time with his little man.
Please say a little prayer for James as we battle the teeth. He isn't eating as much as usually does during the day. Out of concern, I called the pediatrician yesterday. The nurse called back and said that more than likely it is his teeth and to massage the gums. He enjoys that. He did take a little more today than yesterday. If this darn tooth would just come the rest of the way through, he sure would be much happier.
We hope this finds you all well. I will try to update again this weekend with some Halloween pictures with his twin, "Uncle" Adam. Have a great week and enjoy this fall weather!

Yeah, Barry is a much better and more faithful NASCAR fan than I am. I have NOT boycotted M & Ms because of KB.

. . . and probably won't start! :)
