Still Around

We had many people say to us at church this morning...."Oh, your still here." Yep, we are still waiting. We technically still have 4 weeks until our due date. James is due to arrive around June 20, 2008. However, my doctor is scheduled to be on vacation. At our last appointment they said I could take my chances on who delivered while on vacation, or I could be induced the week before. I believe I will opt for the week before. We know if I go into labor on the weekend or over night we take our chances on who delivers, but if I can have my choice I would prefer Dr. Broady deliver. He has followed my pregnancy for the last two and a half months.

As of the 16th, James was weighing in at 7lbs. 4 oz. He is in the 80th percentile for weight. They could not give us a good estimate of how long he is because his legs were wrapped around and their wasn't much room to see in the ultrasound. Dr. Broady and the ultrasonographer were very pleased with his development. We are just going to be having a big boy. I hope that he won't be as big as they estimate, but you never know how accurate that can really be.

The race is almost over and since I didn't sleep all that well last night I am off to bed. If not before we will blog after the doctor visit on Friday.
