Doctor Visit

Well, nothing has changed. I am not dialated at all and according to the doctor my cervix is posterior. Not sure what that means, but oh well! He seems to think all is well with baby, and it will be some time before he graces us with his presence. The doctor is on vacation this coming week as well, so I see a different doctor on Friday. It is one that I have seen once before for my three hour glucose test.

We are now to weekly visits with the doctor. I told Barry today that it is very strange that all the nurses and receptionists know me. I think that means I've been going to many times. He just started to laugh. One of the nurses commented that it just meant I was getting close to the end of the pregnancy.

I feel pretty good other than being really swollen in my ankles and feet this evening. I came home from a pampered chef party hosted by a lady from church and put my feet up. They have come down a little, but not much. I think it is the humidity and heat. I haven't been drinking as much water today as I have this week. The doctor didn't even check my ankles and feet today, so he must not be to worried. My blood pressure is fine, so I think that has made a difference in what he checks at each visit. Today is the first day that I wore sandals this week which could have made a difference too. I have worn sneakers every other day this week. I guess tomorrow I will be wearing those sneakers again, because it seems to be helping keep the swelling down somewhat.

Well, I guess that is all for this blog. Once I figure out how to upload pictures I will share some pics from James's 4D ultrasound that we had done at 31 weeks. I just have to figure it all out.

I know that Barry wanted the baby to come today -- but trust me, this is just one, in a long line of times when your children will frustrate you! :)
