I can't believe it has been almost two months, since I last updated. A lot has happened in those two months.
First of all, James is going to be a big brother in September. Barry and I are expecting number 2...they will only be 15 months apart. Oh the joys of raising two little ones. We had expected to have several years between children, but God has a different plan for us. We found out at the end of January that we were expecting another baby. We were a little overwhelmed, but now we are excited about the coming addition. We are hoping for a little girl and will find out at the end of April what we are having.
James is now 9 1/2 months old. We had new pictures done at 9 months. I will have to upload them later and post them for you. They turned out great...of course I'm partial. James is now attempting to walk. He also loves his ball. We had to buy a softer ball for him to play with after he about took out Quinlin throwing his crawling ball at him. Thank goodness he didn't hit his poor cousin who wasn't even looking. James has had three teeth on the bottom since December, but we noticed last night that both of his top front teeth are breaking the surface at the same time. He has been miserable and not eating for the last few days, and now we know why. He did eat much better today at daycare....they gave him nothing but soft food, and he ate it. James is now a whopping 20 lbs. 6 oz. and measured 28 1/2 inches long. He is beginning to transition to 12 month clothes. He certainly isn't my little cuddly bundle anymore. Half the time he won't even cuddle with you unless he is really sleepy. James is now eating table food along with the baby food. He loves birthday cake (he had it for the first time at Quinlin's party). He also really likes pizza crust, and last night we discovered he loves grilled cheese sandwiches. This morning he had grits for breakfast, and his daycare teacher said he loved them. Neither one of us likes grits...this should be real interesting.
Barry is currently unemployed. Sea Ray closed the Riverview plant last week. They told them in January when they went back that it was coming. He is actually glad to not have to go to work at Riverview anymore. He hadn't really been happy, since they moved him there in August.
We are hanging in there with all of our changes. It has been an eventful two months, and Megan has reminded me a lot that I haven't updated. I promise I will try to be better about it. We will keep you all posted on the new addition and James. Check back this weekend for new pictures and videos of our little man and his new tricks.
